Last few days has been quite a hectic week. especially last and early this week. went to the holy city of Thrimbakeshwar for a 3 day of rigorous religious retreat. Participated in atleast 5 important poojas of various kinds. By the time I was about to leave for mumbai my legs and back were totally destroyed with hours of continuous sitting in one position with my legs crossed.
Went to Town yesterday and visited the Leopold Café. This is one of the places where the terrorists did a shootout and killed arround 7 people on 26th november, 2008. It was a good visit had 2 pints and relaxed a bit. Had a good filling lunch there and travelled arround Crawford market, Kalbadevi, Zaveri Bazaar etc.

This is my 5th day in mumbai, India. Man its an oven out here. I feel like i am being cooked slowly from inside. Its arround 32 to 35 degrees celcius here. Met most of the people of my family playing with my neices. The younger one is the more naughty and terror.
I also had an opportunity to attend a wedding. My friends sister was geting married. It was a good marriage. I have been travelling arround in mumbai to meet my inlaws and also got some time to watch the monologue “vagina monologue”.
Will go to Nasik tomorrow for 3 days. Will write more after I am back.

Today we are flying out to India. Wife is all excited as if she has found a lost toy. I am little worried on how things will open up. Whether the Taxi will turn up on time. Get the Bus on time and reach the Flight on time. Lets see how it goes. I will try to update this blog if I get some time or Internet Access in the Airport.

The excitement is building. Finishing all the last minute preparations so that its less stressfull when I make the actual journey. Spoke to the Taxi company and confirmed the size of vehicle. Spoke to the Utility company and gave my final gas and electric meter reading so that they can update the records. Informed them that I will not be arround.
Spoke to the phone company and took the details of rerouting the calls to my india number. Man its so easy and cheap to do it. Cost me couple of quids to do it. Spoke to my inlaws and sorted the pickup vehicle in mumbai.
Mum is excited and thrilled on the expectation of me and my wife going back home. Even my youngest neice who is hardly in Tiny Tots is getting the house sorted by shouting at the elders for not getting it clean when her uncle arrives.
They are all so excited and looking forward for the gifts we am carrying with us. I hope all goes well in the Travel. If I get time tomorrow to update the blog then i will do it. Otherwise it will be done when I get the opportunity.

I am now getting a bit of nervous. Feeling cold inside. Probably the nerves which I always get before I do something big. This travel is also a big thing for me as I am stepping into a plane after 2 years and fly for 10 hrs approx in air.
Lets see how it goes. Got to finish pending things to be done.
Tele check in done, taxi booked, Seats alloted in the Flights. Waiting excitedly for the D-Day.
